The Healthcare Need
A local health system wanted to expand its ambulatory service lines in a competitive patient market with few quality medical space options for lease.
The partnership with M-M2
M-M2 partnered with the health system and acted as the system’s purchase vehicle, acquiring 10,000 square feet of medical space within 5 miles of their flagship hospital and leasing the medical office units back to them for the long term. We have further expanded this footprint through purchase of additional medical units that were for sale in the building, expanding and co-locating care in that market.
The Health System Outcome
• Avoided acquisition cost of $1.6 Million to secure their required medical space.
• Expanded its medical footprint more than five (5) miles from the hospital.
• Added twenty (20) new exam rooms and capacity to recruit more than seven (7) new providers.
